Closed Back Models

• Heel counter acts as a natural shoe horn.
• Shoe should feel slightly snug when stepping in.
• Footbed supports without pinching or binding.
• Heel should lift up and down when walking.

Open Back Models

• Footbed fully supports the length of the foot.
• Heel may meet back of shoe exactly or fit slightly forward of the back edge of the shoe.
